These are some advantages of using a plastic sewer tank; you may even find some more when you use one. However, it also has some disadvantages. This kind of sewer tank has lower sewage levels. Its improper installation can cause it to float to the surface, also with plastic being a light-weight material, during installation it can be damaged not to mention there are some states or places where a plastic type of sewer tank is prohibited.
Unless you are able to be aware of its disadvantages and are not prohibited in using one you can use a plastic sewer tank in your household and use its advantages to its full potential. But even though it is a plastic sewer tank, it is still a sewer tank and proper maintenance procedures should still be observed.
